Antique 18K Yellow Gold Trombone Albert Chain with Double Dog Clips & Oversized Bolt Ring
A truly exceptional and increasingly scarce example of the English trombone Albert in solid 18K gold.
This chain embodies the refined proportions and confident geometry of the late Victorian–Edwardian period, with elongated trombone links of substantial gauge paired with a generously scaled bolt ring and two bonus dog clips - a configuration seldom encountered today in full 18ct gold.
At nearly 45 grams, the chain carries the unmistakable presence of a true gentleman’s watch chain, now equally striking worn as a necklace. Comparable surviving examples are extraordinarily limited; only one other known piece of similar type is currently available on the global market.
This is a museum-level antique Albert - uncompromising in material, scale, and artistry.
